This quite substantial woolshed is dominated by the Southern Mt Lofty Ranges acting as the protector of the Bay. The shapes of the windswept range as it meets the coast are complemented by the beautiful colours of the grasses and rocky crags in the bright afternoon light. I enjoyed painting this image as it is the view seen as you drive into the beach precinct of Rapid Bay
