Cactus Canyon, South Road, Sellicks. Afternoon aspect
The afternoon aspect of Cactus Canyon provides a different range of colours as the sun projects its light directly along the canyon. Both sides of the canyon are in full sunlight meaning the light from the west is significantly brighter than the morning light. However the golden brown colour of hills dominates the landscape and the canyon gullies extenuate its depth because of the shadows.
