The spectacular landscape of the rolling hills above Sellicks Beach is a cause to stop and take a deep breath. It provides an abstract interpretation of the empty red brown and yellow ochre hills criss-crossed with many light red ochre sheep tracks against the delightful Australian clear blue of a summer afternoon sky.

The golden afternoon light immerses the grasslands where we are able to view the intersection of the numerous sheep or cattle tracks winding their way ‘home’…around rocky outcrops or tufts of grass, through the gates and…..???

This is a very special landscape – a landscape so commonly seen in South Australia that we repeatedly take it for granted.
